The "Regulatory and Environmental Support" division at Artelia is responsible for overseeing and producing environmental studies and regulatory files for large-scale development projects, infrastructure initiatives, river work (dams, dikes, bridges, bank improvements, water intakes...), river restoration, renewable energy projects, and decarbonization efforts.
This multidisciplinary team is designed to tackle all environmental challenges associated with a project. By joining us, you will become part of a dynamic group of environmentalists, natural and technological risk management experts, ecologists, urban planners, and geomaticians capable of engaging at every stage of a project's life cycle—ranging from eco-design to decommissioning, including environmental monitoring during construction.
Your Missions
To continue developing our teams, ARTELIA is opening a position for an Environmental Project Manager. You will be tasked with overseeing regulatory files related to significant projects and will have the capacity to lead the production team while ensuring essential coordination both internally and with clients. Your leadership in managing large-scale projects, requiring the coordination of diverse stakeholders, will be an undeniable asset in this role, which sits at the intersection of technical, commercial, and relational challenges.
Ethical considerations and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors are crucial to our commercial development, and we are particularly committed to creating added environmental value for the projects entrusted to us.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects by leveraging your expertise and actively engaging in the project's most sensitive topics;
- Coordinating engineers responsible for regulatory studies (environmental impact assessments, environmental permits, etc.) in close collaboration with our specialists;
- Maintaining client relations, facilitating meetings;
- Contributing to the preparation of commercial proposals alongside project managers from various specialties and project directors;
- Proposing innovative solutions for the ERC approach and more broadly concerning environmental integration and protection;
- Occasionally conducting international assessments on large-scale projects in domains supported by the group (energy, dams, distribution networks, industry, etc.) in support of our specialized teams.
This position is available as a permanent contract (CDI) in our Échirolles (38) or Lyon (69) agency, depending on your location.
