Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Project Manager:
- Oversee a diverse range of environmental projects, including environmental due diligence, site investigation/delineation, remediation, and underground storage tank removals.
- Utilize your expertise to navigate the Voluntary Action Program (VAP) and Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR), ensuring all stakeholders remain engaged and informed.
- Compose and evaluate technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submissions in compliance with state-specific regulations for Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
- Manage field operations in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, focusing on soil, groundwater, and vapor investigation and remediation efforts.
- Take full ownership of project timelines and profit/loss responsibilities.
- Recruit and supervise subcontractors effectively.
- Mentor and educate scientific staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Proactively identify safety risks and guarantee safe project execution.
- Leverage your professional network and Apex’s established business relationships to identify new business opportunities.
