Who You Are:
As an Escrow Accountant (Funder), you will play a vital role in ensuring the correct, prompt, and compliant disbursement of funds related to real estate transactions. Your responsibilities will include managing deposits and disbursements, reconciling trust accounts, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. A detail-oriented mindset, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing a substantial volume of transactions will make you an ideal fit for this position. This is an in-person role based in our Denver, Colorado office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to proper accounting procedures across multiple states and bank accounts.
- Deposit funds and promptly notify all stakeholders of receipt.
- Disburse escrow files in accordance with signed settlement statements, purchase contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of transactions.
