The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events and Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our New York City office while spearheading the planning and execution of Tavily's events. This pivotal role will shape our office culture, support our expanding team, and enhance our visibility within the AI landscape through impactful events.
What You Will Do
Manage daily office operations to ensure a smooth employee experience.
Handle office vendors, supplies, facilities, and budget management.
Coordinate HR onboarding logistics, including workspace setup and access.
Plan and implement internal team events and cultural initiatives.
Source venues, manage catering, branding, and guest logistics for events.
Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure events align with company objectives.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum of 1 year of experience in office management, event coordination, operations, or related fields.
Demonstrated expertise in planning events in New York City and managing vendor relationships.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving skills.
Experience in technology or startup environments is a plus.
Experience in organizing community or developer-focused events is advantageous.
