The Executive Director for the Ductless and Water Product HVAC sector is tasked with the comprehensive leadership of the Ductless and Water Product segment throughout the AME region, taking full ownership of strategy formulation, execution, and financial performance. This position entails complete profit and loss (P&L) management while directing a multidisciplinary team across engineering, product management, and project management.
This role is pivotal in driving profitable growth, managing a competitive and compliant product portfolio, and leading the organization towards a more agile, product-focused, and customer-centric operational model. As the key liaison between product development and market execution, this leader guarantees that global platforms are effectively tailored to regional customer requirements while sustaining scale, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume total P&L responsibility for the Ductless and Water Product business, significantly influencing revenue, profitability, and long-term value creation.
- Guide the transformation of Ductless and Water Product into a fully product-oriented, customer-centric organization.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle across various ducted residential product families, from concept through to launch and lifecycle management.
- Ensure that products comply with quality, safety, regulatory, and certification standards across all served markets.
- Collaborate closely with central engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and manufacturing to secure seamless execution from development through production.
- Lead coordination across North American regions, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, ensuring consistency and alignment.
- Promote and integrate agile methodologies to enhance delivery speed, responsiveness, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Foster innovation through customer insights, technology scouting, and trend analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
- Act as a chief-hat leader managing a multi-layered organization (three levels below) encompassing engineering, product management, and program management.
- Effectively navigate international teams and interfaces (AME, Mexico, India), showcasing strong cultural intelligence and adaptability.
- Engage in relevant industry and regulatory committees to shape standards, influence policy, and represent the business externally.
