The Opportunity:
As the Executive Director of AI/ML Drug Discovery Analytics, you will play a pivotal role as a senior leader in shaping the future of data-driven drug discovery at Revolution Medicines. You will establish the AI/ML strategy for Research, oversee the implementation of advanced analytics throughout the discovery process, and build a top-tier team to harness the full potential of our extensive internal datasets, making these insights readily available for other scientists. Your leadership will directly impact early discovery innovations, accelerate our pipeline, and inform strategic portfolio decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Innovation: Bring your deep expertise in Machine Learning Operations and AI system design to create and scale a robust ML infrastructure. Integrate MLOps best practices to ensure the seamless development, deployment, and monitoring of AI/ML models, driving innovation through deep learning, generative models, and diffusion models applied to drug discovery.
Strategic Vision and Leadership: Define and communicate the long-term vision for AI/ML-enabled discovery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Cultivate, mentor, and inspire a cross-disciplinary team of data scientists, computational chemists, engineers, and biologists. Establish key performance metrics to deliver impactful solutions that enhance portfolio progression.
External and Cross-functional Collaboration: Build partnerships with leading academic institutions, technology innovators, and computational service providers to leverage cutting-edge platforms and methodologies. Collaborate across research, chemistry, biology, and IT to identify high-impact opportunities for integrating AI/ML technologies and ensure the smooth deployment of scalable solutions. Act as a thought leader, representing Revolution Medicines at scientific forums and contributing to the evolution of AI-driven drug discovery.
