PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Executive Housekeeper embodies SC Demo Instance's commitment to excellence in hospitality, reflecting our mission to provide outstanding service and maintain a pristine environment. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all facilities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
This position requires a proactive approach to cleanliness, organization, and team management. The Executive Housekeeper will report to the Operations Manager and collaborate closely with other departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Assist in the development of housekeeping procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of facilities.
- Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of cleaning supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and supply usage.
- Implement and uphold quality assurance standards.
- Assist in managing the housekeeping budget and expenses.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
