The Systems Installer III role is pivotal in the installation of conduits and wiring for advanced Building Automation Systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in interpreting MEP plans and specifications, along with BAS Submittal Drawings. A valid driver’s license is required to operate company vehicles, and the primary work area is within Orange County and Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to best practices.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
- Engage professionally with clients and contractors.
- Collaborate with project managers and team leads to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
- Support team members as necessary.
- Execute installation of control wiring, control components, and EMT conduit, while proficiently reading electrical diagrams and working from ladders.
- Interpret MEP plans and other construction documents accurately.
- Provide regular status updates on work related to ongoing projects.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting ability for system issues.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an OSHA Safety Certificate.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle are essential.
- Documented experience or training with various systems and controls is required.
- Willingness to work overtime, variable shifts, and occasional travel as needed.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Proficient computer skills are necessary for this role.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, supervisors, and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb, kneel, twist, stand, and ascend stairs and ladders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Work Schedule:
- Standard 40-hour work week with potential overtime as approved by leadership.
Compensation:
$38-$41 per hour, depending on experience.
