You will provide focused psychological strategies to young individuals aged 12-25.

headspace is a nationally funded, pioneering early intervention initiative designed to enhance the health and well-being of young Australians (ages 12-25). Our comprehensive approach emphasizes mental health, physical health, and drug and alcohol counseling, empowering young people to engage in vocational and educational pursuits.
Our teams at headspace Knox and Lilydale are dynamic, supportive, and multidisciplinary, working collaboratively to assist young individuals and families in Melbourne's Outer East. We consist of employed staff focused on intake, community engagement, therapeutic interventions, and administrative roles, alongside partner agency staff and private providers. We also offer various student placement opportunities.
Your Role
You will provide high-quality, person-centered counseling and focused psychological strategies to young people facing mental health challenges. Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team members will be crucial for coordinating effective care.
As a contractor, you will:
- Be assigned young clients who have been assessed and are in need of services.
- Receive a room to operate from at no cost.
- Agree to bulk bill clients for sessions with no cancellation fees to maintain free access for young individuals.
You will also benefit from:
- Clinical support from the Clinical Lead, including consultations and assistance to clients as required.
- Administrative support, including monthly billing, reception, appointment bookings, and reminders.
- Access to fully web-based medical record software with IT support.
