Position Overview:
In response to increasing adoption across the DoD, fueled by successful initial sales leading to broader programmatic and enterprise-level implementations, we are seeking an experienced Federal Channel Director. This pivotal role will focus on identifying, developing, and closing the federal sales pipeline for AppGate solutions through FSI Channel Partners, in partnership with our Federal Sales Account Executives and engineering teams.
The successful candidate will:
- Identify new federal partner opportunities, qualify existing and future program pipelines, and represent AppGate Federal to essential mission owners and stakeholders within the FSI, DoD, and Civilian sectors.
- Utilize a vast network of contacts in the federal IT market to connect with influencers and decision-makers addressing mission-critical challenges for AppGate customers, leveraging an in-depth understanding of government IT spending priorities and budgeting cycles.
- Ensure compliance with partner agreements among federal partners.
- Develop and cultivate sales opportunities within partner organizations, penetrating new divisions and establishing new relationships within assigned partner accounts.
- Conduct sales calls with prospects within named partner organizations.
- Proactively recruit new qualifying partners.
- Meet assigned channel quotas within designated partner accounts.
- Prepare formal quotes, sales proposals, or presentations tailored to partner and customer business needs.
