Your Role:
ClassPass is on the lookout for a motivated Field Sales Executive to enhance our merchant network by acquiring and onboarding promising local businesses within the fitness and wellness sector. This role is primarily field-based (involving 70–80% travel) and is ideal for individuals who thrive on direct customer interaction, relationship building, and serving as a trusted local representative of our brand. As our team grows and our strategies evolve, this position provides a unique chance to influence the future of our field sales methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand our merchant network through diligent prospecting, effective pitching, and successfully closing new business deals in your designated territory.
- Adopt a field-first strategy: engage with prospective merchants daily, participate in local events, and foster relationships with local community and industry influencers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from outreach and initial contact to negotiation and closure, utilizing a combination of in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and virtual communication.
- Regularly meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets and pipeline conversion goals.
- Serve as a local market authority, identifying unexploited opportunities that resonate with customer demand.
- Maintain a structured pipeline, monitoring key activities and performance metrics via Salesforce.
Travel Requirements:
- Anticipate that 70–80% of your work will involve travel, necessitating a flexible schedule.
