Continental Tire is on the lookout for a dedicated Field Engineer to enhance our Commercial Tire Technical Customer Service team. In this remote role, you will provide technical field support to our Sales teams, dealers, and fleet customers by evaluating product complaints, facilitating training, and assessing tire performance in real-world scenarios.
If you're skilled in problem-solving, communication, and hands-on technical tasks, this role is a fantastic opportunity to represent Continental while fostering strong customer relationships.
Your Responsibilities
1. Customer Support & Sales Assistance
Conduct field inspections to assist Sales in addressing product complaints and provide technical solutions to resolve customer issues.
2. Monitoring Product Performance
Track and analyze the performance of specific Continental commercial tire products in the U.S. market, uncovering trends and areas for enhancement.
3. Managing Complaints
Record all complaints in the Global Complaint Handling System, ensuring accurate record-keeping, trend analysis, and sharing insights with internal teams.
4. Driving Continuous Improvement
Spot systemic issues, escalate relevant topics into our continuous improvement platform, and participate in monthly review meetings to support corrective actions.
5. Training & Education
Provide technical training to Sales teams, fleets, and dealers on tire failure modes, inspection techniques, and other pertinent technical topics.
