We seek technicians who are available for emergency and non-emergency projects.Qualifications include:40-hour Hazwoper Certificate is required.Preferred additional certifications: Confined Space Entry, OSHA 30, and/or TWIC.Willingness to travel and work on an on-call/project basis, including potential long hours and night shifts.Experience in chemical, oil, or confined space work is preferred.Special skills desired: Tank Cleaning, Decontamination, Asbestos Certification, Safety Management, and Supervisory Experience.Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.Commitment to safety protocols while wearing PPE, including respirators and protective clothing.Reliable local transportation and a valid driver's license are essential.A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

As a Field Hazmat Technician, your responsibilities will include hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the safe handling of hazardous materials.
Key duties will involve:
Operating a range of light and heavy equipment, including pumps, vacuums, oil spill booms, generators, and bobcats.
Executing emergency response activities for chemical and water spills, biological contamination, tank cleaning, and equipment decontamination.
Utilizing hand-tools and absorbent materials to contain and remediate impacted surfaces, soils, and waters.
