The Field Marketing Team
As a vital member of the Japan Field Marketing team at Okta, your role will center on marketing planning and execution aimed at driving business success in Japan. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Japan Field Marketing to implement strategic initiatives alongside cross-functional teams, enhancing our pipeline across the region. Your efforts will align with the Regional Sales Directors, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Channel Sales, and the broader Go-to-Market team. This position entails managing regional field events, programs, and campaigns, while partnering to deliver business value, reporting directly to the Head of Japan Field Marketing.
You will act as a key liaison among the SDR team, Field Sales team, and Marketing. Your responsibilities include generating awareness and creating demand through a variety of marketing channels, such as account-targeted programs, regional and national tradeshows, conferences, targeted field events, demand generation campaigns and assets, direct mail, webinars, and workshops. Your main goal will be to facilitate account progression through the sales pipeline and expedite the sales cycle for potential clients.
We are looking for a results-driven marketer who is proactive and hands-on. The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Field and Partner Marketing teams to support Okta Sales in achieving annual revenue targets, managing the lead funnel across various field and regional events, programs, and campaigns.
- Oversee and assess regional campaigns and programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
