As TruGreen's representative, you will connect face-to-face with homeowners, comprehend their needs, and deliver tailored lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day presents a chance to interact, educate, and win their business.
Interact with both new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach, exhibiting professionalism, enthusiasm, and positivity.
Adapt sales messaging to meet the distinct lawn care requirements of each household, as every yard (and customer) is unique.
Convert “just browsing” into “just signed” using a tested sales methodology and process.
Document interactions and monitor performance through a CRM to evaluate activity and results, as metrics are crucial for success.
Utilize your expertise to cross-sell and upsell, guiding customers on enhancing their lawn care.
While you don’t need to be a horticultural expert, what you do need is the drive to excel and the interpersonal skills to make every doorstep feel like a warm lead.
A high school diploma or GED is required (a knack for people skills is highly valued).
Prior sales or customer service experience is advantageous, but a strong passion and drive to succeed are even more important.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; reliability is key.
Excellent communication skills are essential, whether engaging in small talk or closing a deal, maintaining a smart and sincere approach.
Strong time management abilities and a self-motivated attitude; you thrive without needing someone to push you.
Comfortable using technology and mobile devices (no coding required, just tap, swipe, and go).
Must be physically able to walk, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds while working outdoors.

Average earnings range from $875 to $1,200 per week (based on annual salary plus average commissions for qualifying representatives).
