As a Field Sales Representative at TruGreen, you will serve as the friendly face of our company, engaging with homeowners in their neighborhoods to showcase the advantages of our customized lawn care services. With your enthusiasm and commitment to our established Sales Playbook, you will deliver personalized solutions directly to their doorsteps, transforming casual conversations into enduring customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential and existing customers through door-to-door interactions, radiating professionalism and positivity.
- Tailor sales messages to address the specific lawn care requirements of each household, recognizing that every yard and customer is unique.
- Utilize proven sales methodologies to convert inquiries into signed contracts.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and track performance via a CRM system, emphasizing the importance of follow-through and measurable success.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, leveraging your expertise to enhance our customers' lawn care experience.
Qualifications: We don't require a green thumb, just a strong desire to succeed and the interpersonal skills to make every doorstep feel like a warm lead.
- High school diploma or GED required; a PhD in People Skills is a plus.
- Sales or customer service experience is advantageous, but a passion for the role and a strong work ethic are even more important.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential, whether for casual chats or closing sales.
- Strong time management abilities and a self-motivated attitude are crucial; you thrive without needing to be told when to start.
- Proficient with technology and mobile devices, as you'll need to use them regularly.
- Physically capable of walking, standing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds while working outdoors.
