We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Agility Logistics Parks in Abidjan. With a robust history of managing finance functions independently, the ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact through leadership in our monthly closing, reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting processes. You will be responsible for building internal controls and liaising with bankers, consultants, and tax offices to ensure smooth operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the finance function with a strong emphasis on compliance with internal reporting requirements and external regulations.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS and facilitate audits.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including tax filings, government reporting, and external audits.
- Collaborate with consultants to claim VAT refunds, optimize tax strategies, and file incentive applications with the Investment Promotion Center in Côte d'Ivoire (CEIPCI).
- Establish and enhance internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and mitigate risks.
- Lead and actively participate in monthly closing, reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting activities.
- Manage a team of accountants and oversee critical accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Liaise with key stakeholders such as bankers, consultants, and tax authorities to ensure operational compliance.
