Your role will encompass comprehensive oversight of the hotel’s financial operations, guaranteeing the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reports for Accor and ownership stakeholders. This includes managing budgeting, forecasting, payroll, statutory compliance, and financial controls, while delivering insightful analysis to facilitate strategic and operational decisions.
This hands-on leadership role is perfect for an experienced finance professional in the hotel or hospitality sector, who possesses both technical proficiency and commercial insight, coupled with a collaborative leadership approach. You will actively partner with department heads to provide financial insights, enhance systems and processes, and spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager and hotel leadership team to support financial strategy, performance, and decision-making.
- Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports to Accor and ownership groups.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes.
- Oversee payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to legislative requirements.
- Offer financial guidance regarding Management Agreements, Owners Corporation matters, and HMA compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, controls, policies, and reporting processes.
- Assist department heads with financial analysis, reporting, and commercial insights to enhance profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Accor financial policies, WH&S obligations, and relevant statutory and legislative requirements.
