Your Role
We are seeking passionate engineers to spearhead the firmware validation process for individual vehicle components as well as comprehensive system-level evaluations. This position demands a robust foundation in electrical engineering, a profound technical grasp of avionics hardware components, and experience in crafting and executing validation plans from the initial design phase through to production.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Firmware Engineers, Avionics Engineers, Manufacturing, and Flight Operations to ensure high-quality firmware releases for flight test operations and customer products.
Design and implement comprehensive test specifications for system-level (airframe) and individual component evaluations, covering nominal and fault-injection scenarios.
Develop software for Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) simulation tests in alignment with test specifications.
Conduct SITL and HITL tests, analyzing and resolving issues identified during these tests.
Reproduce and investigate anomalies discovered during flight test operations.
Continuously enhance available tools and introduce new solutions that optimize validation cycles and can be scaled across all existing and future airframe variants.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Solid understanding of Electrical Engineering principles.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python and C.
