To qualify for membership in this network, candidates must identify as either an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individual.
The First Peoples Employment Talent Network is exclusively available to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants who:
- Are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person;
- Are acknowledged by their community as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individual.
Applicants are required to provide documentation verifying their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status. Acceptable forms of evidence include:
- A Confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent form issued by a recognized Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander organization, complete with a common seal.
