This role seeks a dynamic Flight Test Avionics Technician Manager who is passionate about the developmental flight testing of groundbreaking products and can contribute invaluable mechanical expertise across all aircraft maintenance domains. You will leverage your exceptional technical abilities and extensive flight test background alongside strong leadership and management skills to foster operational excellence and innovation. Collaborating closely with program leadership and diverse departments, you will help cultivate a team dedicated to tackling complex challenges and redefining the industry.
The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril spans all product lines and business divisions, managing flight operations and test range oversight. Our team conducts comprehensive system-level development testing, new production acceptance testing, sub-component qualification testing, and more. Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee standardized procedures for maintenance and upgrades.
- Initiate and manage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely project completion.
- Plan and execute avionics projects from concept to implementation.
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among systems engineers, technicians, and other departments.
- Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft avionics and ground support equipment to support test operations and sustainment activities per maintenance documentation.
- Modify, install, and test electronic and mechanical equipment as part of customer requirements.
