Role Overview: Food Safety and Compliance Specialist
As a Food Safety and Compliance Specialist, you will support our clients in the hospitality and retail sectors, including hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores, to maintain brand standards, ensure food quality, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to evaluate compliance with established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards.
- Observing food preparation and cooking processes to ensure adherence to food safety, health, and sanitation practices.
- Collaborating with clients to identify root causes of any discrepancies in assessments and developing effective corrective action plans.
- Training and coaching clients to foster a safer and healthier work environment for their staff and customers.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including some evenings and weekends.
