Role Overview
As a Forward Deployed Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring successful client implementations by onboarding new customers, developing data models and dashboards, and helping clients realize significant value from the platform. This role is both technical and customer-facing, requiring direct communication via Slack and video calls to troubleshoot issues, clarify requirements, and facilitate progress.
Additionally, you will act as a critical feedback conduit to the product and engineering teams, providing insights from real-world usage to influence feature enhancements and platform developments.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Onboarding & Implementation
Facilitate the onboarding of new clients by integrating data sources and constructing initial data models
Establish dashboards and reporting frameworks
Ensure clients are effectively utilizing and trusting the platform
Data Modeling & Documentation
Create and maintain clean SQL models within the platform’s data layer (akin to dbt)
Keep standardized documentation for data models and reporting structures
Dashboarding & Reporting
Develop dashboards and reports that are actively utilized by customers
Guarantee reporting accuracy and clarity to support informed decision-making
Customer Support & Troubleshooting
Address customer inquiries via Slack and video calls
Resolve issues, explore discrepancies, and address data-related concerns
