About the job
Join us at Sapiom as a Founding Product Designer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the experience of developers, partners, and internal teams on our innovative platform. You will have the opportunity to cultivate our design culture and establish scalable design systems.
Your Responsibilities
User Research: Engage deeply with our users, including developers integrating Sapiom, partners within the Access Network, and operations teams managing agent transactions. Conduct thorough research to identify unmet needs and validate assumptions, ensuring product direction is informed by qualitative insights.
Product Design: Take ownership of designing our dashboard, developer tools, partner experiences, and internal systems. Create user interfaces that simplify complex financial infrastructures, instilling trust and usability. Embrace a balance between speed and craftsmanship—release quickly, learn rapidly, and continuously enhance.
Visual Identity & Brand: Extend and refine Sapiom's visual identity across all product surfaces. Collaborate with external agencies when necessary, while ensuring the brand is effectively translated into the product. Maintain consistency and high quality across every interaction point for developers and partners.
Prototyping & Validation: Transform product vision and strategy into actionable prototypes that can be tested by users and reviewed by the team. Utilize these prototypes for stakeholder alignment, uncovering edge cases, and minimizing risks before committing to engineering investments.
Collaboration & Shipping: Work closely with engineering to prioritize, scope, and deliver projects at a rapid pace. You will be an integral part of the process, making real-time adjustments and trade-offs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
UX Optimization: Continuously enhance the usability of released products. Use analytics, feedback, and your intuition to identify friction points, advocating for small improvements that lead to exceptional user experiences.
Success Metrics (6 Months)
User Insights: Conduct at least 20 structured user interviews, synthesizing findings into a comprehensive feature and UX map that highlights pain points, value opportunities, and areas where developers face challenges, ultimately reducing time-to-value.
Research Framework: Establish lightweight research practices that consistently yield user insights, enabling the team to make data-driven product decisions. Key assumptions will be validated or invalidated based on your findings.
