Role Description
As the Founding Revenue Operations Manager at CivilGrid, you will play a crucial role in architecting our revenue engine during a vital growth period. This unique opportunity allows you to establish revenue operations from the ground up within an early-stage company that is set to disrupt a massive industry. You will work across sales, marketing, and customer success to develop the systems, processes, and infrastructure necessary for scalable growth.
Being the first dedicated RevOps hire, you will have direct access to leadership and the freedom to influence our operational strategies. You will lead and manage various revenue operations functions, and even if you lack experience in all areas, successful candidates will take ownership of specific domains while having the chance to learn and expand into others.
Role Responsibilities
Lead and execute key projects and functional areas within revenue operations from inception to completion.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Customer Success, Marketing, and the CEO to identify needs and implement strategic initiatives.
Develop and manage critical revenue operations areas, including:
Reporting, metrics, and forecasting infrastructure (pipeline, bookings, renewals).
Sales process optimization (lead routing, opportunity stages, pipeline hygiene, quote to cash).
RevOps tech stack management (evaluating, implementing, and administering tools such as CRM, sales engagement, data enrichment, and revenue intelligence platforms).
Compensation planning and commission structures.
Territory design and total addressable market (TAM) analysis.
