About the job
About EliseAI
At EliseAI, we are dedicated to transforming critical sectors such as housing and healthcare. Everyone deserves a safe place to live and access to exceptional healthcare, yet both often remain elusive.
By seamlessly integrating AI agents into existing workflows, we enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the overall experience for all users.
Housing: We streamline the process for renters to tour apartments, sign leases, submit maintenance requests, and maintain communication with their property teams—consolidating all necessary services into one platform.
Healthcare: We simplify appointment scheduling, streamline intake forms, and enhance patient-provider communication, allowing everyone to prioritize health over paperwork.
With EliseAI, organizations can minimize manual processes, increase accessibility, and provide a seamless service experience. We are proud to have recently secured a $250 million Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz to further accelerate our mission.
About The Role
We are in search of a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our healthcare team as the first dedicated developer. You will play a pivotal role in shaping both the product and the technical architecture. This role is not about executing a pre-defined roadmap; instead, it’s about creating one. You will work across various functions to determine what needs to be built, why it is essential, and how to realize it. We are looking for someone passionate about owning projects from inception to launch, making critical backend decisions, and driving features with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and operations teams to design and develop user-facing features and internal tools that create significant impact.
Take ownership of the development and launch of new products, engaging directly with clients to collect feedback and iterate swiftly.
Create intuitive, high-quality front-end experiences for complex workflows, maintaining a strong focus on usability.
Make essential backend design choices, including API design, data modeling, and service architecture.
Develop modular, reusable components to enhance the overall system efficiency.
