Overview of Responsibilities
Each project entails distinct tasks; however, contributors may be required to:
- Construct challenging energy engineering problems that reflect real-world practices.
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and constraints.
- Utilize Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) to validate calculations or simulations.
- Enhance AI reasoning capabilities to meet industry-standard logical frameworks.
- Implement structured scoring criteria for multi-step problem-solving.
Desired Qualifications
This role is ideal for energy engineers with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Energy Engineering or related fields such as Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or Electronics.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in energy engineering.
- Exceptional written English skills (C1/C2 level).
- Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation tasks.
- A stable internet connection.
Additional professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EMP, CEM) and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Commitment
During active phases, project tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on the project's specific needs. This estimate is not a guaranteed workload and applies only while the project is active.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $40 per hour, based on their contributions and experience level. Compensation varies across projects depending on their scope, complexity, and required expertise. Please note that other projects on our platform may offer different earning potentials based on their specific requirements.
