About the job
We invite you to submit your CV in English, specifying your English proficiency level.
At Mindrift, we specialize in connecting skilled professionals with project-based AI roles for top technology firms, focusing on the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. Note that participation is project-based rather than a permanent role.
Role Overview
Each project encompasses distinct tasks, and contributors may be responsible for:
- Creating original computational statistics challenges that replicate real-world mathematical research processes;
- Formulating problems that necessitate Python programming for resolution (leveraging libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and SymPy);
- Guaranteeing that the challenges are computationally demanding and cannot be solved manually in a reasonable timeframe (spanning several days or weeks);
- Developing problems that require complex reasoning in areas including number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis;
- Basing challenges on authentic research issues or practical applications in mathematics;
- Validating solutions using Python and standard mathematical libraries;
- Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified correct solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This position is a great fit for statistics experts experienced in Python who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Statistics or a related field;
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or any programming language is also acceptable;
- At least 2 years of professional experience, which may include applied, research, or teaching backgrounds;
- Strong written English skills (C1 or higher);
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects will be advantageous.
Project Workflow
