About the Role
As a Freelance Data Science Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing GenAI models, helping them tackle specialized queries and develop complex reasoning capabilities. You will collaborate on a variety of projects, each unique but typically involving the following tasks:
- Designing innovative computational data science problems that mimic real-world analytical workflows across diverse sectors, including telecom, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
- Creating programming challenges that require proficiency in Python (utilizing libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, sklearn, statsmodels, matplotlib, seaborn).
- Ensuring problems are computationally demanding and cannot be manually solved within reasonable timeframes.
- Developing tasks that necessitate intricate reasoning chains in areas such as data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
- Establishing deterministic problems with reproducible outcomes, avoiding stochastic elements or requiring fixed random seeds for precise reproducibility.
- Focusing on real business challenges such as customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Designing comprehensive problems that encompass the entire data science pipeline, from data ingestion to deployment considerations.
- Integrating big data processing scenarios that demand scalable computational approaches.
- Verifying solutions using Python and standard data science libraries and statistical methods.
- Documenting problem statements with clarity, contextualizing them within realistic business scenarios, and providing verified correct answers.
