Role Overview
Each project presents unique challenges, and contributors may be tasked with:
- Formulating complex energy engineering problems that reflect professional standards;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations;
- Validating calculations or simulations utilizing Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Enhancing AI reasoning to ensure compatibility with industry-standard logic;
- Implementing structured scoring criteria for multi-step challenges.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is well-suited for energy engineers with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Energy Engineering or a related discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Electronics, etc.;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in energy engineering;
- Strong command of written English (C1/C2 level);
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation purposes;
- A reliable internet connection.
Possession of professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EMP, CEM) and experience with international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Time Expectations

Compensation Details
Contributors may earn up to $13 per hour, based on their expertise and contribution pace. Compensation levels can vary by project, depending on its scope, complexity, and required skills.
