What this role entails:
While each project presents distinct tasks, contributors may:
- Create challenging mathematics problems that reflect real-world applications;
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and constraints;
- Validate computations or simulations utilizing Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Enhance AI reasoning to conform to industry-standard logic;
- Employ structured scoring criteria for multi-step problems.
What we seek:
This role is ideal for mathematicians with Python experience who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideally, candidates will possess:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline (e.g., Algebra, Calculus, Number Theory);
- A minimum of 3 years of professional mathematics experience;
- Strong written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project time expectations:
For this project, tasks are anticipated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, subject to project requirements. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable solely while the project is active.
Compensation:
On this project, contributors have the potential to earn up to $14 per hour, contingent on their level of expertise and contribution pace. Compensation varies across projects based on their scope, complexity, and required skill set. Note that other projects on the platform may provide different compensation levels based on their specific needs.
