Project Responsibilities
While each project presents distinct challenges, contributors can expect to:
- Develop mechanical engineering problems suitable for graduate and industry levels, grounded in practical applications.
- Assess AI-generated solutions for their accuracy, underlying assumptions, and engineering rationale.
- Utilize Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) for the validation of analytical or numerical outcomes.
- Refine AI reasoning to ensure alignment with fundamental principles and recognized engineering standards.
- Implement structured criteria to evaluate multi-step problem-solving processes.
Desired Qualifications
This role is ideal for mechanical engineers with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent assignments. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, or Computational Mechanics.
- Over 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Excellent written English skills (C1/C2 level).
- Proficient Python programming skills for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Possession of professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) and experience in international or applied projects is a plus.

To participate, you will need to apply, pass the necessary qualifications, join a project, complete assigned tasks, and receive payment.
Project Time Commitment
For this project, tasks are projected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project requirements. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable only during active project phases.
Compensation Details
- Paid contributions, with rates up to $38/hour*.
- Compensation may be project-based or individualized, depending on the specific requirements.
- Some projects may offer incentive payments.
