Opportunity Overview:
Each project presents distinct challenges, and contributors may be tasked with:
- Creating mechanical engineering problems suitable for graduate and industry-level applications, based on practical scenarios.
- Assessing AI-generated solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and adherence to engineering principles.
- Validating analytical or numerical outcomes utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas.
- Enhancing AI reasoning to ensure it aligns with fundamental principles and recognized engineering standards.
- Employing structured scoring criteria to evaluate multi-step problem-solving methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This role is well-suited for mechanical engineers with Python expertise who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, including but not limited to Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, or Computational Mechanics.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Advanced written English skills (C1/C2 level).
- Strong Python programming skills for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Holding professional certifications (such as PE, CEng, or PMP) and experience with international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Commitment:
During active phases, tasks are expected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, contingent on project demands. This is an estimate and does not guarantee a fixed workload.
Compensation:
Participants can earn as much as $50 per hour, depending on their experience and contribution pace. Compensation can vary by project based on scope, complexity, and expertise required. Please note that other projects may offer different compensation rates.
