Opportunity Overview:
Each project presents unique challenges, and contributors may be tasked with:
- Crafting complex physics problems that mirror real-world applications;
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations;
- Verifying calculations or simulations using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy;
- Refining AI reasoning to ensure alignment with industry-standard logic;
- Implementing structured evaluation criteria for multi-step problems.
What We Seek:
This position is ideal for physicists with Python experience who are interested in part-time, non-permanent projects. Candidates should ideally possess:
- A degree in Physics or a related field, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, or Optics and Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physics;
- Excellent written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Proficient Python skills for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience in international or applied projects are considered advantageous.

Project Time Commitment:
For this role, tasks are expected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases. This is an estimate and may vary based on project demands.
Compensation:
- Contributions are compensated at rates up to $42/hour*;
- Compensation may be structured as a fixed project rate or tailored individual rates, depending on the project;
- Some projects may offer additional incentive payments.
*Note: Pay rates may vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Highly specialized experts may be offered higher rates, while lower rates might apply during onboarding or less critical project phases. Payment specifics will be communicated per project.
