Opportunity Overview
Each project presents unique challenges, allowing contributors to:
- Craft sophisticated physics problems that mirror real-world applications;
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, foundational assumptions, and limitations;
- Verify computations or simulations utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy;
- Enhance AI reasoning to meet industry-standard logic frameworks;
- Employ structured evaluation criteria for complex multi-step problems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is perfect for physicists experienced in Python who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Physics or related fields, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, or Acoustics;
- Over 3 years of professional experience in physics;
- Proficient written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Strong Python skills for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional qualifications (e.g., CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience in international or applied projects will be advantageous.

Project Commitment
During active phases, contributors can expect to dedicate approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on project requirements. Note that this is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation
- Paid contributions, with rates up to $21/hour
- Compensation may be based on a fixed project rate or individual rates, as determined by the project;
- Some projects may include additional incentive payments.
*Note: Rates may vary based on expertise, skill assessment, geographical location, project requirements, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for highly specialized experts, while lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-core project phases. Payment terms will be specified per project.
