Opportunity Overview
Each project presents its own unique set of tasks, where contributors may:
- Develop challenging physics problems that mirror real-world applications;
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and constraints;
- Validate calculations or simulations utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy;
- Enhance AI reasoning capabilities to meet industry-standard logical frameworks;
- Implement structured scoring criteria for multi-step problem-solving.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for physicists with a strong background in Python, looking for part-time, non-permanent project work. Desired qualifications include:
- A degree in Physics or related fields, such as Engineering Physics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, or Acoustics;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physics;
- Proficient written English skills (C1/C2 level);
- Strong Python expertise for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPhys, EurPhys, MInstP) and experience in international or applied physics projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Commitment
Tasks are projected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, though this may vary based on project needs. This estimate is not a guarantee of workload and applies only during active project phases.
Compensation
- Compensated contributions with rates up to $36/hour*
- Rates may be fixed per project or vary individually depending on project specifics;
- Some projects may offer additional incentive payments.
*Note: Rates are subject to variation based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project requirements, and other influencing factors. Highly specialized experts may be offered higher rates. Lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-core project phases. Payment specifics will be communicated per project.
