Role Overview
As a Freight Operations Operative, you will be instrumental in the efficient storage, delivery, servicing, setup, breakdown, and presentation of garage environments, support equipment, and parts at events and within our storage facilities. This role requires both teamwork and independent initiative to ensure our trackside and factory operations operate seamlessly. You will also assist with broader road, air, and sea freight operations and take on additional duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the effective storage and servicing of assets during non-travel periods, primarily in a warehouse setting.
Safely and accurately establish infrastructure at events, adhering to the highest standards of compliance, safety, quality, and presentation.
Execute practical tasks requiring mechanical, electrical, or IT skills, addressing challenges as they arise.
Utilize knowledge of motorsport garage infrastructure or relevant skills from other sectors.
Ensure precise reporting, load planning, and fulfillment according to shipment specifications.
Operate machinery safely, including forklift equipment (training provided if necessary).
Perform inspections of personal protective equipment (PPE) and supporting tools.
Assist with trackside security responsibilities to safeguard company intellectual property.
Provide operational support during races, including tasks such as refueling, tire changes, and general garage responsibilities.
