Join our team as a Front Desk Agent and be the welcoming face of the Westgate Historic Williamsburg Resort! In this role, you will efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring their stay is exceptional.
Your responsibilities include:
- Warmly greeting and registering guests, while assigning them their rooms.
- Issuing room keys and providing escort instructions to bellhops.
- Date-stamping, sorting, and organizing incoming mail and messages.
- Transmitting and receiving telephone messages efficiently.
- Addressing inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, and local attractions including shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Maintaining accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
- Calculating bills, collecting payments, and providing change to guests as needed.
- Making and confirming reservations for rooms and additional services.
- Posting charges for room, food, beverages, and telephone usage to the ledger.
- Coordinating restaurant, transportation, and entertainment reservations, as well as arranging tours.
- Assisting guests with the secure deposit of valuables in hotel safes or safe deposit boxes.
- Conducting nightly bucket checks to ensure financial accuracy.
- Listening to guest concerns and providing appropriate solutions.
