Join the realm of exquisite hospitality at Raffles Dubai as our esteemed Front Office Agent. This pivotal role involves overseeing various Front Desk operations, including guest reception, check-in and check-out processes, cashiering, foreign exchange, and addressing guest inquiries. You will report directly to the Front Office Supervisor.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently register and allocate rooms for all guest arrivals in line with established protocols.
- Conduct check-in, check-out, and room change procedures, ensuring accurate data entry into the hotel system.
- Manage the cashier float and provide precise daily reports of all funds received.
- Process personal and travelers' checks for hotel guests, along with assisting with currency exchange.
- Stay informed about updates to accounting policies and procedures.
- Address guests' requests for safety box services at all times.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of promotional procedures for various programs, including Seasonal Packages and Loyalty Programs.
- Handle guest complaints and inquiries, referring issues to the supervisor or Assistant Manager when necessary.
- Familiarize yourself with other Raffles properties to facilitate onward bookings for guests.
- Ensure that all departing guests leave with a positive impression of our services.
- Conduct audit balances and prepare all reports systematically for auditing purposes.
- During night shifts, review the night report, compile the morning report, and prepare all necessary documentation for guest arrivals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of standard reservation procedures.
- Exhibit exemplary standards of behavior, appearance, and attitude within the department.
- Ensure the front desk work area is consistently clean and orderly.
- Be fully knowledgeable about the Credit policy.
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
