About This Role
As a member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in transforming ideas into products that are utilized by thousands of users each week. Our Taxes & Bookkeeping (TAB) Team is dedicated to creating an intuitive bookkeeping solution that not only saves time and money for our customers but also helps Found expand into new markets and establish itself as a comprehensive solution.
We seek a Software Engineer who is eager to build, test, and deploy sustainable code. You will contribute to the development of Found's essential bookkeeping features, enhance our suite of Accountant and team tools, and grow our paid subscription services.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborating with fellow engineers to design and launch both user-facing and internal features.
- Working closely with a dedicated designer and product manager in a tight-knit team, from initial design phases to pre-launch testing.
- Determining strategies for building, testing, deploying, and scaling features effectively.
- Writing secure, maintainable code and developing technical systems.
- Creating and monitoring post-launch dashboards (DataDog, Amplitude) to assess feature adoption and impact.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
- 4+ years of experience with both backend and frontend frameworks.
- A passion for continuous learning and growth as both an engineer and a team member.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, and other relevant technologies.
