About the Position
The Credit Representative plays a crucial role in upholding the integrity of credit operations at Ocean Casino Resort. This position is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, both internal and external. You will foster collaborative relationships across various departments, including Table Games, Slots, and the Casino Cage.
Key Responsibilities
- Process credit applications in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Contribute to departmental objectives and strategies.
- Engage professionally with guests and all departments.
- Address guest concerns positively to enhance loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
- Prepare credit files, generate reports, and update information in the Ocean Casino Resort software.
- Follow the guidance of the Credit Executive on duty and understand the chain of command.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Able to work in a casino environment with exposure to secondhand smoke, high noise levels, and customer service pressures.
- Strong customer service, professionalism, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with good phone etiquette and computer skills.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in credit operations within a high-volume casino environment is preferred.
- General knowledge of business and casino credit operations.
- Understanding of the New Jersey Casino Control Act.
- Must be eligible to maintain a Casino License as per the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
