Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Normandy Park, WA, in close proximity to Seattle, WA
Work Environment: Private Physical Therapy Clinic
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Patient Engagement: Manage 1 patient per hour
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 annually, accompanied by comprehensive benefits.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient clinic located in Normandy Park. In this pivotal role, you will assist patients in adhering to their care plans with consistency and hands-on support, collaborating closely with the supervising Physical Therapist. Your contributions will help patients enhance their functional abilities and instill confidence throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute treatment methodologies as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients in safely completing prescribed exercise regimens and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Facilitate treatment objectives through effective communication and patient engagement.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of each therapy session in a timely manner.
- Maintain the clinic's treatment tools and equipment, ensuring readiness for patient care.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
- Possession of a valid Washington PTA license, or eligibility for licensure in Washington.
- Exceptional communication and patient care skills.
- Adept at accurately following the Physical Therapist's care plans.
- Highly organized, professional, and comfortable in a private outpatient environment.
