Position Overview:
As a Full-Time Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our store management team by ensuring smooth daily operations. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and assisting with merchandising and other tasks as assigned by management. We expect all activities to be conducted in a professional, courteous, and results-oriented manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong customer relationships by providing top-notch service and assisting customers in a reliable and attentive manner. Understand customer needs and guide them in selecting the perfect products.
- Exhibit knowledge of current fashion trends to help customers make informed purchasing decisions while adhering to DTLR standards.
- Assist in handling shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing to ensure a well-organized store.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward your role and the company.
- Adhere to and enforce all company policies and standards.
- Participate in service training and product knowledge programs.
- Support the Store Manager in monitoring issues related to inventory loss and compliance to help achieve shrink goals.
- Uphold operational compliance and maintain safety and business standards.
- Assist in training fellow employees in effective selling and merchandising techniques.
- Actively work to minimize inventory shrinkage by following loss prevention policies and security measures.
- Ensure proper point of sale procedures are followed and assist in balancing cash during your shifts.
- Keep management informed of any significant developments or concerns that may affect store operations.
- Help maintain a clean and organized sales environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- This position requires a standard work week of 35 to 40 hours.
