Join Our Team as a General Manager!
As the General Manager of our Buffalo Wild Wings location in Decatur, AL, you will play a key role in driving the operational success of our sports bar. Your responsibilities will encompass sales growth, managing profit and loss, and overseeing the hiring and training of both management and hourly staff. You will ensure that our guests enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, while upholding the highest standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with guests through 100% table visits to model exemplary hospitality.
- Oversee daily operations, focusing on achieving sales and profit goals, including managing hourly labor and food costs.
- Identify innovative marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Analyze monthly profit and loss reports, communicating results to management and developing improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with PCI standards for credit card transactions.
- Manage financial and personnel-related administrative tasks efficiently and accurately, in line with company policies.
- Maintain a safe working environment, managing documentation for any guest or team member incidents.
- Schedule and oversee the management team, including handling time-off requests.
- Lead weekly manager meetings and coordinate shift meetings to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate and implement new company initiatives and policies effectively.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Develop positive relationships within the community, representing the brand positively.
- Oversee staffing needs, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and terminations as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies, holding the team accountable.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and development goals to team members.
- Communicate any employee relation issues to Human Resources in a timely manner.
- Follow food safety standards including SERV Safe Alcohol, Food, and HACCP.
- Delegate tasks responsibly while remaining accountable for overall operations.
- Manage inventory processes including receiving and rotating stock.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
