Role Overview
As the General Manager of Francesca's Restaurant Group, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences by managing both the dining room and kitchen operations. Your leadership will ensure that every guest interaction is professional and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee dining room and kitchen operations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage guest relations with a focus on professionalism.
- Ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed and operational at all times.
- Lead hiring, training, and coaching initiatives for hourly service staff.
- Conduct line checks for each meal shift and maintain records for compliance.
- Supervise facility management, emphasizing sanitation, safety, and timely equipment repairs.
- Perform monthly inventory assessments and maintain temperature logs.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with operating profit metrics, including food and labor costs.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on the performance of hourly staff.
- Document all personnel matters promptly and accurately for management review.
- Develop programs to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
- Maintain effective communication with operational and office support staff.
- Ensure that Assistant General Manager and Floor Managers understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a full-service restaurant.
- Experience in fine dining or polished casual Italian cuisine is preferred but not mandatory.
