General Manager
Overview:
The General Manager (GM) is pivotal in steering the overall operations and ensuring an unparalleled customer experience at our Jamba Juice location. This role is dedicated to driving sales performance and executing brand standards to elevate the store's profitability. The GM cultivates a high-performing team, fostering exceptional customer service through effective leadership and development of store Team Members and Shift Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
General Leadership:
- Articulates and embodies Jamba’s mission and objectives.
- Leads with clear vision, ensuring the store meets its sales and operational goals.
- Meets quantitative objectives related to sales, labor, COGS, shrinkage, and expenses.
- Effectively communicates shift issues to the District Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- Upholds operational excellence throughout the store.
- Responds promptly to directives, ensuring team compliance.
- Recognizes and rewards outstanding contributions from team members.
- Exhibits exemplary leadership qualities.
- Undertakes additional duties as assigned.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Aims for superior customer service experiences, maintaining high service metrics.
- Ensures sufficient shift coverage while following labor guidelines.
- Guides the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff to uphold quality standards.
- Trains management teams to effectively resolve service issues.
- Inspires team members to provide insightful product suggestions to customers.
- Engages with the community and educates customers about Jamba’s offerings.
Operational Management:
- Adheres to all company policies and operational procedures.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and supply management.
- Oversees supply ordering in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Coaches and directs team members, leading by example in executing Jamba standards.
- Manages shifts effectively, making staffing decisions based on business needs.
- Communicates effectively to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Follows food safety and cash handling procedures diligently.
