Position Overview:
The General Manager (GM) serves as the key executive leader in our vibrant restaurant environment, championing profitability and fostering exceptional guest experiences. The GM is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the restaurant, operating under the guidance of the District Manager while leading a dedicated team of 20-45 employees, including Assistant Managers, Shift Coordinators, and Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
Profitability:
- Accountable for restaurant's financial performance, actively managing P&L to achieve financial goals.
- Analyzes P&L metrics to drive strategies for increased profitability.
- Enhances sales through outstanding guest service and effective team development.
Guest Experience:
- Inspires the team to exceed guest expectations with prompt, friendly service in a well-maintained environment.
- Oversees guest interactions and resolves feedback efficiently to boost satisfaction.
- Engages with the local community to enhance marketing initiatives and attract new guests.
Team Leadership:
- Directs recruitment and selection to build a high-performing restaurant team.
- Facilitates onboarding and training for new team members, ensuring a smooth acclimation process.
- Motivates and recognizes team contributions through effective management practices.
- Provides constructive feedback and coaching to elevate team performance.
Operational Excellence:
- Optimizes labor management through effective staffing and scheduling.
- Ensures adherence to all regulatory standards and brand requirements.
- Acts in various managerial roles as needed to support operational needs.
