As a General Manager at Sonic Drive-In, you will take on the pivotal role of leading your team in providing an exceptional, delicious food service experience. Your leadership will be instrumental in training and supporting staff, ensuring that food is served in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, all while guaranteeing an outstanding customer experience.
- Manage, train, and motivate Crew/Team members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
- Direct and assign tasks to restaurant employees to uphold operational standards.
- Ensure adherence to the employee handbook and company policies.
- Perform opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
- Create employee work schedules and manage staffing levels effectively.
- Oversee inventory levels and place orders for supplies while maintaining cost control.
- Manage and maintain all employment and payroll records.
- Promote a strong customer service culture, ensuring all employees are dedicated to customer satisfaction.
- Address guest requests promptly and report complaints to management for resolution.
- Conduct interviews and hire staff to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to tackle financial challenges.
- Design and implement marketing strategies to boost business.
