Your Impact:
Are you a dedicated and motivated Generator Technician eager to advance your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the telecom sector? If so, Pearce has the perfect role for you! Our Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators located on cell phone towers in your area. This position is ideal for independent, self-driven individuals willing to travel.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain generators, diagnose and repair issues, and install or replace components or entire units, performing additional maintenance or upgrades on off-season equipment.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure operational readiness, interpreting blueprints or design specifications for installation and repairs.
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, ensuring they operate correctly.
- Respond promptly to power/generator alarms, with the capability to be on-call 24/7 if necessary, and quickly address assigned phone and email communications.
- Work safely, aware of potential hazards associated with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment and other related systems, including risks such as falls, electric shock, and falling objects; consistently use safety equipment and practices, attending all required safety and training meetings.
