Join our dynamic team as a Golf Supervisor at The Grand Golf Club, where excellence in customer service is our top priority. The Golf Supervisor will support the Golf Operations Manager in managing daily operations and supervising the Player Services Team. This role is vital in ensuring that every colleague, member, and guest receives exceptional service.
- Act as a representative of the Club, demonstrating courtesy, tact, and professionalism in all interactions with staff, management, members, and guests.
- Adhere to all Club Safety Regulations and actively participate in ongoing Safety Seminars.
- Comply with all rules, policies, and procedures established by Fairmont Grand Del Mar management.
- Assist the Golf Operations Manager or Head Golf Professional with scheduling and oversight of the team’s schedule.
- Serve as a trainer for the department, utilizing resources during new colleague training and development.
- Maintain high operational standards as set forth by Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
- Welcome each member and guest warmly and professionally.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of all areas of golf operations, including valet, driving range, bag services, and caddie services.
- Regularly monitor the cleanliness, detail, and support within each area of operation.
- Maintain appropriate levels of amenity supplies and communicate ordering requirements timely.
- Conduct or assist with Junior golf instruction, including clinics and camps.
- Support the Head Professional with tournament preparations and assist with various departmental needs as they arise.
- Attend resort Safety meetings as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain grooming standards to meet Fairmont Grand Del Mar expectations, including wearing pressed uniforms and appropriate footwear.
- Adhere to the Club’s dress code when not in uniform.
- Commit to enhancing knowledge of the business through training and seminars.
